Lo que me gusta del video, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de que Edixon se lanzara, es que casi termina atropellando a uno de sus amiguitos. Los logros no ocultan el car\u00e1cter, lo sacan a la luz. Tony Hawk, el Dios del skate, lo era en la suya, por ejemplo. Sus padres no hallaban c\u00f3mo controlarlo y encontr\u00f3 un refugio saltando, corriendo y haciendo trucos con ni\u00f1os id\u00e9nticos a \u00e9l. Lo mismo sucedi\u00f3 con el brasilero Bob Burnquist, m\u00e1ximo ganador de medallas en los X Games. No quer\u00eda estudiar, viv\u00eda fug\u00e1ndose del colegio. Ten\u00eda solo un deseo: llevarse al l\u00edmite haciendo skate. De Edixon podr\u00eda decirse lo mismo: en casa te vuelve loco, en Zona Skate deja que hable la patineta.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Su mam\u00e1 describi\u00f3 su rebeld\u00eda. Dijo que se dorm\u00eda y se despertaba tarde, que cuando le ordenaba sentarse se paraba, que era contest\u00f3n en la escuela y que en vez de hacer las tareas rayaba los cuadernos con dibujos. Arranc\u00f3 entre Caracas, Guarenas y Guatire, coincidiendo con el auge del deporte<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gracias a los<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xgames.com\/our-history\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">primeros X Games<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que se hicieron en 1995. Oswaldo, sus hermanos y sus panas ruleteaban las calles como los Amos de Dogtown y organizaban competencias en la capital. Luego, se pusieron serios. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Chino<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, un convive de Oswaldo, fund\u00f3 su propia escuela de skate en Chacao; y Oswaldo, que priorizaba los negocios, sigui\u00f3 haciendo competencias. Durante 15 a\u00f1os vivi\u00f3 de esto y de trabajar en la radio, pero todo cambiar\u00eda en 2011.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oswaldo conoci\u00f3 todo el pa\u00eds gracias al skate. Y esa patinadera lo llev\u00f3 a Santa Elena de Uair\u00e9n, \u00faltimo pueblo del estado Bol\u00edvar a 15 kil\u00f3metros de la frontera con Brasil. All\u00ed se instal\u00f3 con su esposa Alejandra Venot, hizo su casa en una comunidad del pueblo pem\u00f3n y mont\u00f3 un programa de radio. Luego de organizar una competencia en el pueblo, Oswaldo replante\u00f3 la visi\u00f3n que ten\u00eda sobre Zona Skate. Not\u00f3 que en Santa Elena nadie sab\u00eda patinar y que ense\u00f1arlo se le daba f\u00e1cil. Estuvo ocho meses en los refugios hasta que ese coronel sali\u00f3, entr\u00f3 otro y se acab\u00f3 el proyecto. Las patinetas de nuevo en casa, pero el esp\u00edritu indomable. Adem\u00e1s, aspiraba que Brasil fuera un pa\u00eds donde pudiera darles una mejor vida. As\u00ed que el chico de ocho a\u00f1os y sus dos hermanos se unieron a los<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brazil.iom.int\/sites\/g\/files\/tmzbdl1496\/files\/documents\/2024-06\/informe_migracao-venezuelana_jan17-abr24.pdf\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">m\u00e1s de 190 mil ni\u00f1os y adolescentes venezolanos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que emigraron a Brasil entre 2017 y 2024, seg\u00fan el Observatorio de Migraciones Internacionales (OBMigra).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edixon dej\u00f3 Matur\u00edn para soportar un viaje en autob\u00fas de 15 horas por la Troncal 10, carretera que atraviesa el estado Bol\u00edvar hasta llegar a Brasil. La idea era llegar a Pacaraima, en la frontera, y terminar en Boa Vista. Pero quien ha hecho esta traves\u00eda sabe que, a la mitad, quieres devolverte. Alcabalas de la Polic\u00eda Nacional Bolivariana (PNB), de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana (GNB) y pueblos dominados por delincuentes debido a la miner\u00eda ilegal: la ley del Viejo Oeste. Y algo mucho peor, al menos para los ni\u00f1os: no hay d\u00f3nde estirar las piernas, comer, ir al ba\u00f1o. En t\u00e9rminos patineteros: es como lanzarse solo en una rampa.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuando llegaron a Boa Vista en diciembre de 2022 las fechas para inscribir a los ni\u00f1os en el colegio estaban por cerrar. Nayeliz no pudo hacerlo y perdieron el a\u00f1o. \u00bfAhora qu\u00e9? Aprender portugu\u00e9s. Ella lo incentiv\u00f3 por encima del espa\u00f1ol para que no comenzaran las clases desorientados.
